Adoption of an Energy Policy

At the regularly scheduled Board meeting, on Monday, January 18, 2021, the Gates Creek Board of Directors will be voting on the adoption of a 4th amendment to the Gates Creek Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions. The amendment is an Energy Policy dealing with solar power, wind energy, composting, and rainwater storage. The amendment was written by the Association's attorneys and is in compliance with Illinois laws under the Illinois Common Interest and Community Act. According to Illinois law, the adoption of the amendment can be accomplished by the Board of Directors. The adoption of an "Energy Policy" is required by the state of Illinois. All homeowners are being notified by U.S. Mail. All homeowners are encouraged to attend this monthly Board meeting.
